The Art History Newsletter

Megan is a PhD candidate at the University of Kansas. She is the current Mellon Foundation/Loo Family Curatorial Assistant in European and American Art at the Spencer Museum of Art in Lawrence, KS. Her dissertation is "After the Deluge: Contemporary Artists Engage Katrina." Megan is particularly interested in visual interpretations of trauma that can create or recreate collective or cultural identity in the wake of catastrophe.
