CAA 2011

The 2011 College Art Association conference begins today in New York. Alas I couldn’t make it this year, but I look forward to rounding up coverage as it appears. Charlie Finch writes about sexism in hiring. On Twitter, @ardmara writes, “Jonathan Katz quite brilliant on the NPG/wojnarowicz censorship issue. This is a political moment.” Art Journal announced its new website. The conference website has its own blog again this year, reverting to the old format of assembling bloggers from various walks of life–eight in all including editor Christopher Howard. (Last year’s blog was solely the work of Columbia College Chicago students.)
