Obit: Hanne Darboven

The 67-year-old conceptual artist apparently died of lymphoma. Obituaries in Die Zeit, the Frankfurter Rundschau, the Tagesspiegel, Die Welt, and Der Standard.

    The talk at CAA was v. interesting.

    She was one of a not very large number of her German peers to come to NYC in the 1960s and drink in the atmosphere there — though she seemed more preoccupied with the weight of history than were New Yorkers of a more “serial” attitude.
